Originally from the industrial town of St.Helens in the north west of England, famous for its glass making and rugby league, Neil has carved a career building brands and helping organisations make transformational change to power growth.

Neil studied economics at Loughborough University and began his career in the automotive industry as a graduate trainee with Peugeot UK. Rapidly gaining experience across sales, operations and retail he moved to Volkswagen Group where he found his niche in marketing, culminating in his appointment as Head of Marketing for Audi UK during a period of huge change and rapid growth in the 1990s. It was here he experienced first-hand the importance of brand and how all-encompassing it needs to be to have a lasting impact to create long term value.

Following board-level roles with Nissan Europe and Goodyear he moved into privately-owned organisations where he could apply his experience to help drive growth. However, in 2017 he chose to start his own enterprise to focus on helping clients develop the commercial value of their brand and manage change, founding SaturnFive Consulting in which he remains actively involved.

With his is long-held passion for all things outdoor combined with the emerging trend to hybrid working, Neil and his wife Davina moved their new home to the Highlands. Aurora North was conceived to provide high-quality, affordable professional services to the region’s SME community to support sustainable growth.

The consulting practice works closely with associates and partners in the region, bringing appropriate expertise and experience to each project to deliver a tailored service to its clients.
